Removing Facebook/Twitter button on comments page
-
I am setting up a blog for my class and do not want a link to any other social networking site. How do I remove the facebook and twitter buttons from underneath the new comments box?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry but Facebook and Twitter log-in comment box buttons that visitors can use to login and submit a comment with are not removable features. They are in the comments boxes to stay on all free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

The option to comment with Twitter/Facebook seems to be MIA on all my blogs today. Is there a new setting somewhere?

That was strange, but I guess expected. Couldn’t see it on any of my blogs, but saw it on yours and tt’s. After cookie and cache flush, they’re back everywhere. :)

Wish I could figure out how to get rid of these. I’m setting up a private blog that should only allow registered users to login – not just because you have a Facebook or twitter account. Looks like I’m going to have to find another blog site to use instead sadly. I have always loved and been faithful to WordPress until now :-(
