Removing files permanently
-
Hi! I had lots of different PDFs uploaded to my blog earlier. As I uploaded new versions of the documents, I deleted the old ones. However, as I didn’t delete the old files permanently, they can still be accessed on their URL:s.
How do I delete these old files permanently?
Correct account: Yes
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

Hi there,
We use a global network of servers so your site loads as fast as possible no matter where in the world your visitors are, but because of this when you delete media it is not always removed right away. Also you may have browser caching on your end that is showing you a snapshot of the file before you deleted it, even though it is not available online.
If you would like to share the links you’ve had issue with here, we’re happy to take a look and make sure they are deleted from our server network, thanks!

I see! The URL for the file that I need to have removed is https://standardreglerhome.files.wordpress.com/2023/02/add-hafte-a-23002121610.pdf
Thank you in advance for deleting it from your server network!
I made sure to clear my cache before trying to access it, so that is not the issue, by the way.

When I try to load that URL, I get a “404 Not Found” message:
So there’s nothing to remove – it’s already been removed from your site.
I hope that clarifies things!
