Removing followers from a blog
-
How do I remove followers from a blog? I just want to delete a few emails of people who originally requested to follow a blog and now don’t want to. Please advise.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. We are not able to remove followers from our own blogs. If someone is receiving email notifications from your blog and no longer wants to, they have to unsubscribe themselves.
If they are WordPress.com users, they can do so by going to the Blogs I Follow page from the WP.com home page. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/following/#manage-email-and-im-settings-for-specific-blogs
If they are not WordPress.com users, they can unsubscribe via the subscription management page, here: https://subscribe.wordpress.com/

I have the same problem. I have ‘bloggers’ following my blog, but they are nothing more than links (spam) to their Ads for services. I really would like to remove them. Maybe WP could work something out for us?

Oops, this is the blog I’m talking about:

I just noticed the link on my name brings up a closed blog of mine. Sorry. -

I understand that at present we can’t remove followers (or Likes), but it would be a nice feature addition if we could, someday. I have also noticed a large influx of spam followers and Like-ers lately, and I’d like to be able to peel them off using my blog as a platform to troll for clicks.
