Removing Footer text

    How can you remove the footer text in the sound check theme ? I would like to either remove it or replace it with my own brand name. Having the current footer will affect my professional appearance to my fans and customers.
    As a paying customer of this theme I should have the option to remove this information from the footer area. Please Assist me.

    Howdy,

    Removing or making the footer credits illegible is against of Terms of Service ( http://wordpress.com/tos , specifically section 11).

    All sites on WordPress.com, from a free one to our highest-paying VIP sites require an attribution line. An example is the New York Post’s new site that launched today on our VIP service— http://nypost.com/ —with the attribution in the footer.
