Removing former Administrator

    I am the new Administrator of my Blog. The former Administrator is no longer involved at all. How can I remove her as an Administrator under People, I have even tried to change her to a contributor, but it keeps changing back.

    Hi there,

    What is the username of the former administrator? If she is the person who created the site, then she is also the site owner, and you cannot remove or demote the owner of a site.

    In that case, the only way to remove that admin is for her to transfer ownership of the site to your account, as explained here:
