Removing “Front Page” and other page names from header
-
Between the blog name and the photo banner are the words “Front Page”. When I set up “Pages” in my sidebar, the titlles of the pages are also shown alongside the “Front Page” below the blog title. How do I remove them from there? I only want them in the sidebar.
ThanksThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot remove “Front Page” from the theme you are using. Some themes have “Blog” or “Home” and likewise the words which are a link back to the front page of your blog cannot be removed.

I don’t consider this to be a big deal. That’s because I’ve been around a long time and I have hundreds of blog entries so that Front, Home or Blog button is very useful to my readers.
You can switch to another theme and this post will help you select one that doesn’t have this feature http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/category/homefrontblog-tab/

If you continue to be that clueless and unprofessional, you won’t be in business long.
grandmaflea, why don’t you just change themes?

I have changed themes – it is better for what I want, but I do miss my banner photo. Still – you can’t have everything. Thanks for all your help :-)

If you want you could put a smaller image of your cockatoo in a text widget or in an image widget and display it in sidebar in the footer of the blog.
P.S. You’re welcome. :)
