Removing gravatar from WordPress feed

    I just wanted to remove the first media:content i.e gravatar from the feed. It just includes in all posts automatically. I tried disabling through setting->discussion page, but it still remains. How to fix this issue?

    I would like to know how to remove the generic gravitar image also. I am using a simple digital sign that grabs the fist image it sees, which unfortunately is the generic avitar image
