Removing Gray box surrounding an image
-
I have been looking through posts on removing the gray border that surrounds an image. It seems as though usually when there is one, there is some sort of alignment problem, or one needs to change something in the CSS. I am very new to this and have little knowledge but am trying to learn how to troubleshoot these issues. I don’t know what a css is really besides that it helps to give a more inside look into the website? I want to somehow remove the gray border around my paypal link that i have inserted in my csa page. Is there a simple way to do it? I have a chunk theme.

Do you have the Custom Design upgrade or not? If not, the thread should not be moved to the CSS forum. And if not, you need some extra coding in the Text editor. Let us know and I’ll show you how to do it in either case.

justpi: I do not have the custom design, no. I would love some help figuring it out, thanks.

Are you going to purchase the annually renewable custom design upgrade or not? Details here:

http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/Please provide a yes or no answer because without it you cannot do what you want to do and all CSS editing is theme specific.

YIKES! Sorry I missed the boat completely ion this. justpi says it can be done without CSS editing. Please ignore my comment immediately above.

Switch the editor to Text (=code) and turn this:
<img ETC ETC
to this:
<img style="border:0;" ETC ETCBy the way, this has nothing to do with “alignment problems”: Chunk displays that border when an image is clickable.
