Removing header image

  I’m a total beginner and looking to create a basic website, literally just a homepage plus 3 other pages. I’m slowly making progress but I seem to be stuck with the header image on the Hitchcock theme. All i’m looking for is just to completely remove the header image and have a plain white background top to bottom, but it doesn’t seem to be an option.

  I get to appearance>themes>customise>header image, but from there the only option I have is to add a new image, I’ve tried adding a plain white image but that didn’t work.
