removing header image on all pages except home

  Is it possible to remove the header on all pages except the home page, so that the slider doesn’t disappear? I would would then place the name with css as it is on the home page on all other pages. I am nervous about deleting the header because of the warning of not being able to recover it (under appearance, header)

  Note that if you were to delete the header, you could always add it back as long as you have a copy of the image, so you shouldn’t worry.
