The CSS you mentioned is correct for the Wu Wei theme. I checked http://k8goff.com/ and it’s working properly right now.

FIrst, you can make sure you are viewing the most recent version of a page by refreshing the page or even clearing the browser cache if needed:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cache-and-cookiesNext, let’s make sure we’re talking about the same thing by looking at a specific example.
I’m comparing these two links:
http://k8goff.com/
http://k8goff.com/about/On the about page, I see header text that says “kate goff photomedia artist & graphic designer”. On the home page, I don’t see that. Is that the “header” you meant, or were you maybe referring to something else?

yes thats right, on the home page it shouldnt have the header ‘kate goff photomedia artist & graphic designer’, on the other pages it should (and does). I cleared cookies and cache, and it still shows the same thing. im using chrome and have tried it in firefox and safari too and still the same thing.

How strange. I see it working. When I check http://k8goff.com/ here’s what I see: http://cl.ly/N8Zj
If anyone else in the forums has a second to check, please post a reply here. I’ll also see if I can get a few people I work with to check it too.

I had a quick look, and the header text is correctly hidden on the home page. Here is what I can see on my end:

@k8goff, your CSS is working as expected as far as I can tell. If you’re still having trouble, maybe you could provide a screenshot for us so we can see what you’re seeing.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/Since it’s working properly for everyone I have checked with so far, perhaps the issue is local to your network. To test that theory, you could try checking the site from a different network location if you have access to one or ask a friend in another location to check it for you.
