Removing header titles in the Goran theme
-
Hi,
I want to stop the page titles displaying on the headers of each page as they do not work with the images I’m using but I can’t work out how to do this. Can anyone help?
Thanks

What happens when you delete the title. It can be a little tricky to remove the page title because, depending upon the theme, WordPress may require that there be content in one of the three fields: title, page content, and excerpt. In this case, I was able to create a front page, and grid pages with both the page title and page content empty if I add a tag (invisible) in the excerpts field.

What happens when you delete the title? That was supposed to be a question, leading off the previous post.

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. I’ve tried that, and it works in the sense that I can save the page without putting a title on it but the way this is then listed in the header menu is ‘no title1’ etc.
Do you know if there’s a way to make the title of the page (for instance, ‘About’) stay in the header menu without it also displaying across the header image for that particular page?
Thanks again!

The solution to this is very simple. Create a custom menu, if you haven’t already done so. Then change the “Navigation label” of any “no title” page to the deleted title, or whatever you want.
