Removing Home/About Menu From Blog

Hello! I have been going through the forums and tried various ways to remove the menu bar including: You should be able to get rid of the default menu bar by creating a custom menu, removing all of the links from the menu, and setting it as the Primary Menu for your blog. If the custom menu does not have any links in it, the menu should be removed from your blog.
The problem is when I do that the word “home” goes away but the bar is still their and the title of my most recent blog post.
Is their anyway to remove the bar and any words in that bar?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you referring to the site https://charlottewater.wordpress.com/?
If you create a custom menu and put no items in it, and make that your primary menu, then the menu bar will disappear. There is no way that a link to a post can appear in a menu that has no items.
