Removing "Like" option on gallery of images

  Hi there,

  I’m in the process of making a website specifically with a gallery to view a bunch of artwork. I’m using the theme “Manifest”, and it has an option of inserting a gallery into your site – but once you click on a picture in the gallery it takes you too a page with an ugly “LIKE this Media” option at the bottom which I don’t want. Does anyone know how I can remove this or if it’s even possible? I just want a clean and sleek website that doesn’t look like Facebook!

  PS – The website is currently private because I’m making it as a Christmas present, which is why you can’t view it.

  Staff can view any website private or not. Volunteers like me cannot view them. The reason we ask for the URL is simply because 30% of those posting here are lost. They ought to be posting to the WordPress.ORG support forum. When we have a URL we can see by the private box and logo displayed whether or not it’s actually a free hosted WordPress.COM blog or not. Is this the blog in question? http://patrickdagg.com/ If it isn’t then please post the URL, know we cannot see the content.

  Would you like to try and see if this will do the job?

  If you’d rather, you can turn the display of the after-post Like controls on or off for specific posts on your site. When editing a post, find the Likes module (you might have to scroll down to find it). It will contain an option labeled Show likes on this post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/likes/#turn-likes-onoff-on-specific-posts
