Hi @louis1962,
To create a menu item that is not clickable but will contain sub-menu items, add a Custom Link menu item and add the # symbol in the URL field.
Full details and screenshots can be found at the very bottom of https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

I am sorry. My keyboard switched languages. Here is the correct link below.

That’s what I tried. I just couldn’t get into the part to add # in the URL so the button is not clickable.

I prefer using written instructions as opposed to videos but that is neither here nor there. Please navigate to My sites > Customize > Menus, and select “Primary Menu”.
Click”add items”. This will open a new panel in the customizer.
At the top of the new panel, click the arrow beside “Custom Links”.
Add # to the URL field and “Gallery” to the “Link Text” field.
Then click “add to menu”, and position the menu item where you ‘d like it to appear. You’ll also need to delete the old Gallery menu item.
Here’s an example video, it might take a minute or two to load https://www.screencast.com/t/DZ5Du5ag

@garysixtyeight
Thanks from me too. :)Accessibility issues – FWIW I am visually challenged and the screencast video images are so tiny that I have trouble with them so that is why written instructions are better for me.

I work with making websites accessible for all. I may bounce things off of you some times timethief. :)
