Removing linked defunct sites from My Sites dashboard
-
Hello WP Happiness Engineers,
I have 2 questions for you:
1-There are 2 sites listed under ‘2 more hidden sites. Change. Use search to access them.’ under ‘My Sites’ dashboard. I no longer have access to those client sites to login in and disconnect Jetpack and the sites aren’t even live anymore. How can I delete them?
2- I recently moved one of my sites from one hosting service to another and now Jetpack won’t connect. I’ve already contacted WP help for this and they told me to reinstall the plugin, which I already have in multiple ways and it still won’t connect. I contacted my new hosting service for help and they told me I have to create a new WP account because that account is already assigned to one of the defunct sites listed above… That doesn’t sound right. I’ve always had multiple sites linked to my WP account. Can someone please help me find out why Jetpack won’t connect to my site?
Thanks!

This is wordpress.COM support. It is not Wodpress.ORG support and we cannot help you.
Disconnect Jetpack Sites https://en.support.wordpress.com/disconnect-jetpack-sites/?
Additional information:
We do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.com/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.
The wordpress.ORG login link is here https://login.wordpress.org/
If you do not have a wordpress.ORG account yet then click Create an account https://login.wordpress.org/register/
If you have a wordpress.ORG account but have lost the password password click Lost password https://login.wordpress.org/lostpassword/
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.com/support/
Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackHowever, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
