removing menu bar from manifest theme

  hi, I am new to wordpress. I have created a site using the manifest theme, its is all good apart from the fact that there is an empty menu bar above my header image. I have no need for a menu bar as all the desired content is in one post, how do i get rid of it?

  Go to appearance > custom menu, create a blank custom menu with no items in it, save it, and then select that menu from the primary pulldown in the “theme location” module and click save.

  Have you purchased an annually renwwable custom design upgrade and is this a CSS editing question?
