Removing metadata
-
Using Illustratr free site, no upgrade. Would like to remove photo metadata. Apparently I can do it with plugins but have to upgrade to business plan to do that? There must be some other way. Have no problems with titles but would like camera info/settings removed.

You can remove metadata from the WordPress.com image carousel gallery via the wp-admin editor: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/media-settings/#image-gallery-carousel
To remove metadata before you upload your images to your site see: https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/3-ways-to-remove-exif-metadata-from-photos-and-why-you-might-want-to/ -
Thank you. That is a huge help. For some reason I forgot to go to the dashboard. Maybe you can help with another question: these are photo galleries. After going to each of the three category pages, each of which have tiled galleries, I’d like to click on a picture and go directly to the full screen picture. When I change the page attributes to “disable” on the Top Level setting, that works but then will revert to the Top Level and the picture will open on the page by itself; it then must be clicked to fill the screen. I don’t want these three pages to have a parent page (except for the home page) but that’s not an option. I will be adding pages of photos to these three categories and the current pages will be parents for subsequent pages. How can I set it up so that just clicking on a picture on the category page goes directly to a full-screen image and then I can just scroll through them like I can when I initially disable the Top Level setting?

Well, it appears it is now working….which it was a while ago, but then reverted. However, I appreciate your help.
