Removing my customer orders and bookings to start fresh, good thing?
-
Hi, my site runs slow because is very large in capacity along with quite a few plugins. Also, it has a few thousand customer orders and bookings and am considering removing the entire list of them to start fresh and free up space for a quicker site. Is this a good thing to do with WordPress and can it help in optimizing the databases?
A little info on the site to help is that the site uses some fairly heavy plugins like WC Bookings, WC Bookings Availability, WC PDF Invoices, WC Smart Coupons, WC Admin Custom Order Fields, Automate Woo and a few others, has 546 customer orders and 400 bookings. For over the past year, I have been trying to find someone to analyze the site to no avail, I have daily emails from so many people that say they have a service that can do this and that and make my world perfect and they never reply back to my reply email…so I need help, hence why I am here.
So, back to the question is it ok to delete all customer orders and bookings from my WordPress website?
Thanks in advance for any help on the subject!
