Removing my old pseudonym

When I originally set up my blog, I used a psuedonym, which was displayed clearly on the front page of my blog. I did this the normal way: by typing up a first name, last name, etc, in the profile section of the wordpress settings.

But now I decided to change my psuedonym from what it used to be so something close to my actual name. I went to the profile section of the settings again and made the necessary changes, deleted the old psuedonym and typed in the new one in replacement.

My problem is that when I go to the front page of my blog now, the old psuedonym is still there, right above the icon that shows the link to my wordpress profile. Clearly there is something that I haven’t yet done to make the full name change process complete, but despite my searching through the menus I haven’t been able to figure out what it is.

And finally, I’m finding it very difficult to properly explain my problem using just words. I have taken a few screenshots of my computer, in order to properly indicate what and where the issues are, so that what I’m saying it made clear.

Assistance for this problem would really be appreciated.

Well, the changes to usernames are not retroactive. There is nothing you can do about that.
