Removing nawrcymru.wordpress.com

  Hello, I have this old wordpress blog https://nawrcymru.wordpress.com/ and my new site http://www.nawr.cymru (which is also based on a wordpress platform). When people search for NAWR – they find the nawrcymru.wordpress.com address first, i’ve deleted the blog but it still comes up in a Google Search. Is there a way of removing it from searches etc?
  I thought maybe deleting my profile would do it?

  It will take time for the site to fall out of Google’s index. You can get in touch with them though, here’s how:
