Removing no-longer self-hosted site from My Blogs?

  I am trying to get my website hosted by ipage and have purchased the domain designbytravis.net. However, I had this domain hosted on Host monster previously. Every time I try to login to my wordpress site though my new host, it redirects me to the site that was hosted by Host Monster. I believe I need to delete the designbytravis.net from wordpress. Does this sound accurate? When I try to go to the dashboard it takes me to a page that says the site is no longer registered on the domain. I cannot use the dashboard. Any ideas?
