Removing Old Site

adhdassociationofgreateredmonton.wordpress.com has content from 10 years ago and continues to show up in search results, just below the current site. Have looked at posts on how to delete, however in our association’s current account ((email visible only to moderators and staff)), it isn’t listed (no sites are). How can we remove that very old and misinformative site and contents without impacting our current site at adhdedmonton.com?

If you aren’t able to provide an email from the email address with which the blog was registered, a PayPal transaction ID, or the original activation link, I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you recover the account.
We have a strict policy in place to protect our users from third parties who might try to use our support system to gain access to other users’ accounts.
However, if there’s personal information on the blog, I would be happy to set it to private for you so search engines and users can’t access it -just confirm and we’ll take care of that for you.

(email visible only to moderators and staff) is most likely the one associated, although it is no longer active (we switched to Google Suite nearly 4 years ago). Thanks for the private option, but we’d like the content deleted. If you need confirmation, you could also use our current general information email ((email visible only to moderators and staff) – linked to on our current, hosted WordPress site adhdedmonton.com) for responses. The gmail.com account currently being used here is for backend administrative purposes.

This is a dead-end. The organization has changed immensely since that content was created and it presents a threat to our reputation to leave it there. Given the change, the content is, at best, misleading. Also given the change, we don’t have access to the information that you’re asking for. We can supply multiple references for removing this content, however – through our contact email, for example, which you will not accept. Or, from https://adhdassociationofgreateredmonton.wordpress.com/contact/, the link for our website goes to our current, hosted content, which you can see has drastically changed. The outdated homepage on your site states
“Home
The Tudors
This page has moved to a
theTudors.example.com.Our website is now at adhdedmonton.com.”
Whomever posted that link to the new site is long gone.
I’m not clear on how the content was ever hosted at wordpress.com – likely the first iteration of the organization’s website was hosted there because it was free. We moved that content to a hosting service in the mid teens and have been with a hosting service since.
There is no one who would have a claim to that content other than the ADHD Association of Greater Edmonton. The account recovery asks for information that we cannot supply – we moved our email and cleaned up the records, without retaining any information about website content that should have aged out long ago.
Can you not confirm ownership of abandoned content through some non-historical method?
