removing old sites from my profile
-
I signed up yesterday to create a new site on WordPress.com and added a second .blog site and signed up for a Quick Start session. Now WP has scheduled the Quick Start session for an old dead site and is filling in a site I tried to start but never opened in 2011.
I want to clean up all my old sites, remove them and only have my new site. Help. -

Hi there,
I see you have since cancelled that purchase for a full refund, but it doesn’t actually matter what site you bought the quick-start session for, as we would have confirmed the site with you prior to the session started.

kokkieh: No, I don’t think I cancelled my new site, although it seems to be gone. Except an address keeps popping up that combines my new site with an old site from years ago.
Maybe I should just erase the whole thing and go to Wix. You guys should really rename “quick start” to “slow start” since it takes days to “get an appointment” for some help. Or maybe “no start” would be more accurate.
So rather than help me get started, you decided to be snide and a smart ass.
Well, kokkieh, take this string to your supervisor, then just close everything under my e-mail address (email visible only to moderators and staff) or (email visible only to moderators and staff) and refund my fees to my visa account. I’m done with you.

@bdrarbitration definitely not trying to be snide. If you bought a quick-start session, you would be speaking live over a video call to someone who would certainly not force you to use it for the wrong site.
Appointment times can vary based on demand, though most folks will start working on their site before the call so staff can help with any questions they have left.
If you want to come back, you’d be welcome. Just let us know.
