Removing "Older posts" link
-
I would like to remove the “Older posts” link at the bottom of the front page. I’ve figured out how to keep archives from being available, and how to limit the number of posts on the page. I just want to keep newer readers (when I start writing again) from going back to my years-old posts.
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Removing that link isn’t possible (except if you had the Custom Design upgrade). And archives are always available; example:
http://besusan.wordpress.com/2001/If you don’t want access to your old posts, you can turn those posts to private, or you can turn the whole blog to private and start a new one.

Well, I know the archives are “out” there unless I make them private. I was just trying to make them more difficult to find. Oh well for that idea! Unless there is a way to make all 4,000+ private at the same time…
Thanks.

You’re welcome.
Posts > All Posts includes Bulk Editing, but I don’t think BE can cope with 4000 posts at once without freezing or crashing.
If you have so many posts, then my other suggestion is more realistic: start a new blog. -
