removing original creator

  Hi – I am in the process of creating a new WordPress.com for someone else. Unfortunately, during the setup, I used an email address belonging to me, and which I no longer want to be associated with the account. I therefore created an additional admin user account for the prospective person, and I now want to remove my original email – but I can’t! It says that I don’t have the relevant permissions. Can anyone help with this, please?

  If this is indeed a WordPress.com and not WordPress.org site then you can’t technically remove the original creator per say, unless you transfer the blog to a new owner. Can the new admin remove your email?

  See if you can have the new admin remove your email. Here is some info on users and roles. Here is some additional info on transferring blogs between users.
