Removing post notifications from reader without having to unfollow blogs
-
Will it ever be possible to make an improvement on the reader so that we can delete individual posts notifications. I hate having to go through the same notifications on posts I have already seen, liked and commented on. The only option you offer so far is to unfollow a blog, or to block and report a blog as spam. I would like to be able to click a little “x” on the post notification when I have gone through it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The Reader is designed to show all of the posts from all of the blogs you follow, with the most recent posts at the top. It may help to think of this as a stream of posts (like you see on sites like Facebook or Twitter) rather than post notifications.
When I look at the reader, I usually start at the top and read until I get to posts I’ve seen before. That’s how I know where to stop. :) If you prefer getting individual notifications about new posts, you may prefer to enable email notifications for blogs you follow. That way, you’ll get an email about new posts, and you can delete the email once you’ve read it.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Thank you for your reply, but this does not resolve anything. Not being able to click “x” and remove notification just does not work for me. Email notifications are reserved to the maximum of 3 bloggers in my case. Imagine having email notifications for 50 or 100 people!!
Reader has so many irritating features (I am not the only onee to say it), that the only solution I see is to unfollow everybody.
