Removing Post Picture

My posts include pictures and text. When I create a post and view it on its proper page, one of my pictures becomes a sort of featured image above my post so that you have to scroll down to see the actual post, where the image is repeated within the text. This happens even when I have no image selected as a featured image. Is there a way to turn off this automation? I still want my home page to include the image, title, and short excerpt of each post.

    Hi,

I’m not finding evidence of this issue on the site. Have you resolved it? Also, what is the theme applied to the site when this occurs?

    You might try the following:

If there is a “Content Options” section in the Customizer, then uncheck the box labeled “Automatically use first image in post” (if present) at Customize > Content Options > Featured Images, and save the change.
