Removing posts in a blog that presents bad reviews of a business with the same website domain as my own business which does not longer exist

  Hi!
  I am writing to you in request to remove a very old blog (that were written around 10 years ago) that concern a business that does no longer exist and had the same domain as my own new business

  I am the new owner of http://www.artifly.com
  We create new art using artificial intelligence and sell it to consumers worldwide.
  Unfortunately, it seems that there are bad reviews listed on a blog that is hosted by WordPress, dealing with a company with the same name that was shut down many years ago, as shown here: https://thescamfighter.wordpress.com/category/artifly-is-a-scam/

  It is impossible to contact the owner of the blog as there are no details, but it is presenting false and slandering information about my business, as since it was created, the previous business that had the name Artifly, was closed down, and its domain was purchased by my company about two months ago.

  Unfortunately, the blog appears high on google search results and therefore damages the reputation of my newly launched website.

  The business mentioned in the reviews is categorized under ‘fishing’ and sell fishing equipment or other fishing-related product, as my business as I mentioned before, creates art on the fly (hence the name).

  Please assist me to resolve this issue by removing the blog from your site.

  Hi Ben, that’s a tricky situation. Unfortunately our forums staff would not be the arbiter of what happens to the site, so your best bet, if you haven’t already, would be to contact the TOS team.

  Another option is to just make it clear on your site that you are a different company; as you get good reviews that one should be buried over time.
