Removing profile picture from site header

Hi there. I have been fiddling with my settings for my profile in an attempt to remove my profile picture image from the Header section of my site. I would prefer my audience to just see the site name and graphic, but not the circle with me picture. I think too much is going on and is distracting. It looks like this:

Can someone help me with this? I’ve tried all I can think of on my own. Thank you!

    Hello @shakespeare2021,

It seems you have added your pic for site logo, you can remove it , please go to my site>> customize>> Site Identity.

There you can see Remove logo button , you can click on it and remove it. If you want to use any other pic you can simple click onChange logo button.

For more details you can refer this Support Article

    Hope this help, thank you.

Thanks for your input. Unfortunately it’s not a logo issue, because there is no logo selected. I’ve considered trying to delete my profile picture, but WordPress will not let me do that. I’ve also tried clicking on my photo in the hopes it will direct me to a page to customize whether or not it is visible, but nothing happens. Hopefully it gets resolved before my site publishes, because it looks a little unprofessional to me.
