Removing quote marks from blockquote in Chateau

  I’m using the Chateau theme. I would like to remove quote marks that gets generated automatically at the beginning and end of blockquote. Is there a CSS code that does the job?

  Hi there,

  Here’s the CSS that the Chateau theme uses to add those quotation marks at the beginning and end of each blockquote:

  .post-entry blockquote p:first-child:before, .comment-text blockquote p:first-child:before {
  content: "“";
  }
  
  .post-entry blockquote p:last-child:after, .comment-text blockquote p:last-child:after {
  content: "”";
  }

  To get rid of those quotation marks, you can add this custom CSS:

  .post-entry blockquote p:first-child:before, .comment-text blockquote p:first-child:before {
  content: "";
  }
  
  .post-entry blockquote p:last-child:after, .comment-text blockquote p:last-child:after {
  content: "";
  }

  That replaces the quotation mark content with blank content. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
