removing recent comments from home page

  I have removed everything from my site but am left with some recent comments on the home page which I cannot remove. How can I do this?

  You can trash any comment from your dashboard. Hold your cursor over the comment and wait for the links to appear. Click on the Trash link. You will be given the option to undo the move and restore the comment if you accidentally trash the wrong one.
