Removing Related Posts
-
I am using the expanded PREMIUM Expound theme. There is NO SETTING to turn off the new “related posts” feature which I DO NOT WANT on my premium site. Another forum thread I now can’t find in your “search the forums” had a staffer advise to shut them off in Settings>Reading but there is NO SUCH OPTION in Expound.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks, raincoaster, now I know the other post from a staffer about a turn-off option was incorrect.

There may be something going on with the Expound theme.
When I look at my Expound blog, there is no option to turn off the related posts. But in a test blog, wearing different themes, the option is available.

Howdy,
There are some themes, Expound among them, that comes prebuilt with a related content feature and because this is something integrated into the theme itself there’s no way to turn it off.
For the vast majority of themes there’s nothing built in and it is for those themes that we have recently launched a “Related Posts” feature. The option in Settings → Reading exists only when this WordPress.com feature is active.
I hope that clears up some of the confusion with the Expound theme and related posts.

It’s unfortunate that I’m paying for an upgraded Expound and can’t use it anymore; I have switched to a free theme so I’ve been able to turn off Related Posts.

@hypertextranch
I am using Expound on two blogs and I cannot see any settings here > Settings > Reading to enable related posts on either of my blogs. -
