Removing Scrollbar from Text Widget

    Hi,

Iam using a clock as outlined in a couple of other posts, however I would like to remove the side scrollbar from the clock.

Obvioulsy I would also like the clock to be centered nicely etc once the scrollbar is removed. I have tried using the: scrolling=”no” with no success.

    The code currently being used is: [gigya src="http://flash-clocks.com/sf/custom-clock.swf?xmlFile=http://flash-clocks.com/sf/config.xml" width="200" height="90" wmode="transparent" scrolling="no" ]

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s because you are using Internet Explorer (That’s the only time a scroll bar appears on your blog), In google chrome and Firefox there’s no scroll bar, and the clock is centered.

    screen capture from google/firefox here.

Thanks for that. I also wanted it to also work with IE as the blog is for Family and Friends and not everyone uses Firefox and Crome.

You’re welcome. When I tried to do it before (remove the scrollbar – IE still displayed it). Hopefully someone may know and respond.

I had the same issue using the Scolling= and Overflow= Switches.

At the end of the day its no biggie, just nice if everyone see’s it the same.

I guess thats why I dont use IE.

just nice if everyone see’s it the same.

It would be if all web browsers would follow the same recommendations? :/

If that can be useful to know, I use Firefox currently so there I can’t say more than what has been said above, therefore I just tried to see your blog in Opera under Linux, and in Opera also the clock is perfect.
