Removing Search Box & Extra Space from header of Elemin theme

  Hello

  I was able to remove the search box from the header of the Elemin theme using this:

  #branding #searchform {
  display: none;
  }

  I found it here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/removing-the-search-box-from-my-header-and-css-for-spotlight-functionality?replies=2#post-1045337

  I want to have equal white space above and below the header.

  My question is what CSS can I use to remove the extra space that was meant for the search bar that is now no longer there?

  It should be there is no extra space when add this css;

  #branding{
  padding-top: 10px;
  }
