Removing sidebar widgets
-
I’m creating a new site and thought I had a selected a theme that would allow me to delete the sidebar widgets that come with it (it’s described as “optional”). I can’t, however, figure out how to do this! The theme is Gazette. I want all of my pages to fill the screen, with no sidebar at all. Any help much appreciated!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
The white border at the sides of your site is how this theme is set up. The option is to add content to some of those areas. Not having content there doesn’t remove the white area itself.
If you’re looking for content that reaches the edge of the screen, maybe look through some themes with background image/header options: https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/featured-image-header?s=background
Alternatively, here are some minimalist themes: https://wordpress.com/themes?s=minimalist
Hope this helps :)
