Removing Smiley Face and Credit Links

  I have read the reasons why WordPress have inserted a smiley face in the blog, as well as the reasons for inserting the credit links at the bottom of pages. My question is, can all of these be removed if we buy our own domain and go private?

  No, the smiley and the theme credit cannot be removed.
