Removing Subscribers
-
Recently, someone with a most objectionable name has subscribed to my blog. Is there any way I can unsubscribe this person?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide,
Kat

No there is not. If there were then the same person could get another IP or email address and subscribe again so removing subscribers would be an exercise in futility.
As long as your site is publicly available on the web, there is no way to block specific people from seeing it. The “Remove Subscriber” link didn’t ban a user from your site, stopped them from reading it, or even prevented them from subscribing to it again. Note that there is no limit for how many people can subscribe to your site.
You may want to check out our privacy options for more information about limiting access to your site:

Heavy Sigh! I was afraid this may be the case. The person is not harassing me, at least not yet. It is just that their user name is really gross and I hate seeing it on the subscriber list. I guess I will just have to learn to live with it.
Thanks for getting back to me so promptly!
Regards,
Kat
