Removing Summary from the Home Page

I just started to blog in earnest on my site and have noticed that there is a summary of the home page on the bottom of the Home page screen. The testimonials show BENEATH that.
A summary of what I say on the home page is totally unnecessary in this instance and I have tried to remove it but can’t find where to make it go away.
Everything else is awesome. I have always loved WordPress and can’t wait to get this site off the ground. I know it’s going to help someone dealing with the same issues I had.

Hi there,
That summary is a featured page – it looks like you’ve added your Home page also as a featured page on the Front Page Featured Page section.
Open the Customizer and click on Theme options. Remove the Home page from the featured page slot there, and update.
