Removing text at the bottom of the site

  How can I remove the text at the bottom of the site which states that this is a WordPress blog and the name of the theme?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  How can I remove the text at the bottom of the site which states that this is a WordPress blog and the name of the theme?

  The acknowledgements are a part of all WordPress.com sites, even really big users like NYPost.com.

  It’s not possible to remove them, but if you use the Custom Design feature and have some familiarity with CSS, you can style them to change the font/color/size to better suit the style you’ve chosen, if necessary.

  No problem! Just to be sure I explained that correctly, you can style it with CSS but please don’t hide it completely, it does need to remain legible. :)
