Removing Text at Top-Right of Blog Front Page
-
Hi at the top right of my page is a block of text that reads:
“Hey there! Thanks for dropping by [my blog]! Take a look around and grab the RSS feed to stay updated. See you around!”I would really prefer to just have space there with no text. I know this sounds basic, but how do I get rid of that text?
I’m currently using the Motion theme (http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/motion/), which I really like visually otherwise. I just think it will “pop” more if the text were gone.
Thanks!
Rob

This question has been asked and answered many times. A search provides the answer:
See > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/02/11/custom-header-image-in-motion/ The “box front page top right with an RSS link” is the default Header widget. If you go to Appearance> Widgets, open the Header module, and drag another widget there, the default goes. If you want nothing, drag a text widget (without writing anything in it).

Thanks. I used the text box tip. There’s a semi-transparent block in the top right, but it’s much less obtrusive.
