Removing text widget from a web page
-
Hello,
I have a text widget on my blog page. I also have a web page that can be reached by clicking on a bar in the header. I’d like to remove that text widget from the web page and just have it on the blog. Is there a way to do this?

No, unless there’s a way through the Custom CSS upgrade. Otherwise the template on your blog is the same for all the pages and posts.

Brian,
If I understand you correctly, you are wanting to move the information in the text widget on the side of your page to a blog post?
If that’s it, then go to your Dashboard – Presentation – Sidebar Widgets. Click the widget with the information that you want and select all of the text in it. Click Ctrl+C on your keyboard to copy it. Drag the widget to the bottom of the page with the other available widgets to remove it from your sidebar.
Now go to Write – New Post and hit Ctrl+V on your keyboard to paste the text into a new post. Once you’ve submitted it, it should show up on your blog.
Hope this helps and I read the question correctly. Have a great day!
