Removing the Centre Button Which Brings the reader to the top of the page

  This is a link to an image of what I am trying to remove.
  As you can see from the image there is this big gold circle thing right in the middle of the page. This has a function which I do not need on my website, and it goes against the appearance of the whole website.
  If you could recommend some troubleshooting steps to get rid of this big thing, it would benefit me and my readers, and would be greatly appreciated!

  Hi,

  The ” big gold circle thing” is a special feature on the Independent Publisher 2 theme called the Header Gravatar. It may be removed by deleting the email address at Customize > Theme Options > Gravatar Header, then clicking the Save & Publish button.
