Removing the Date, Author Name and Category In A Static Home Page Post

    I really want to hide/remove this from my homepage, Static post “Gallery, May 5, 2012 by nkygyatso”

    I would appreciate any advice!

    You would need to set a static Page as your homepage. Right now you are using Posts, which displays that information. Here’s how to set up a Page as the front page of your site: http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

    Free Advice/ Having only one static page on your site doesn’t help search engines find you, because they love fresh updates. Use the Posts page for news of where you will be showing on the weekend. Use a Google calendar embed in the sidebar to give more long-term information. Use an Instagram/flickr account and widget to bring more visual content to your website. Share things that interest you on your website to bring more “life” to your site.
