Removing the gray rectangle at the top of the blog entry

  I am using Oxygen theme. On the main page of my blog, each blog entry displays a picture that I added or a grayed out rectangle. How do I hide the grayed out rectangle?

  Hi there,

  The Oxygen theme heavily relies on the use of featured images. If you don’t have any images or a featured image which is wide enough to fulfill the requirements of that showcase image which shows up on the front of your blog, then the grey rectangle appears instead as a placeholder. There’s no way to hide it. It is generally best to always put in a featured image for each post which relates to that post so that your front page’s stream of posts look as pleasing as can be!
