Removing the “HOME” link

  When I select one of my static pages (ABOUT US)to be the opening page in the options the original “HOME” link remains which is not only not necessary, it goes to he same place as the ABOUT LINK and the automatic link of the title. Can I get rid of this link or keep it and change the title and add content?

  no, it can’t be removed, but you can make “about us” a subpage of another page, and remove the ABOUT LINK

  Some of the themes also allow you to set a Page to Draft or Private while being a static page. That way they don’t show up in the Page menu system.
