Removing the option to comment on specific pages.
-
I would like to fully remove the option to comment on the added pages: About and Gallery on my blog; but I do not want to disable the ability to comment on posts (viewed via Home page). Is this possible without a Custom Design Upgrade?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

By the way, I am aware that I can remove the option to comment via the Discussion settings on my Dashboard. But, I am only trying to disable the comment option on two specific pages; not on posts, or the entire blog.

Go to those pages and click Edit and below the Edit Post box you’ll find the option to disable comments.

Disallowing coments on image gallery attachment pages is possible only if you set your default Discussion setting to no comments, and then override it in the Discussion module of each individual post after you publish the post.
This page > Settings > Discussion
Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments.
We can also override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any post or page.If you don’t plan to have many gallery posts, it might be simpler to write a note or a comment explaining you don’t want comments in attachment pages.
Does this help?
