Removing the original theme author information

  Hi there,
  I signed up for custom CSS and have been messing around with my original theme quite a bit. As I’ve altered the theme from the original, I would like to remove the theme author information bar at the bottom of the screen. Provided I am allow to do that (I would think I am seeing as I have the custom CSS option, and I’ve edited the theme) how should I go about removing the bar?

  It’s really bad form to remove the credits.

  You haven’t “altered the theme” you’ve changed some of the styling. Everythng that makes it function is there because of the the author.

  Scratch building it is then. Thanks for the input. I just figured at the point where you’re paying extra for a specific service, you’d be given free reign with it. I apologize if I’ve offended anyone with this issue.
