Removing the Reply Box at the bottom of the pages.

I’m trying to figure out how to remove the Leave a Reply box at the bottom of the pages. I’m using wordpress as a website, and I just don’t need comments. I tried using the options in the Discussion menu, and it doesn’t remove the comment box, so I’m guessing it has to do with the CSS. I’m currently using the Twenty Ten Theme, but I can’t tell what needs to be removed from the CSS to remove the comment box. Any help would be appreciated.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Since the Pages are already published you need to Edit each Page and go down the editor below the enter text area and you should find a check box to disable the comments. Remember to save changes.

Thanks so much. I couldn’t find the box under the editor, but if I quick edited there is a check box there.

The check boxes are hidden a bit, but should be just under “Discussion” toward the bottom of the Edit Page.

You be welcome & good luck

If you still can’t find the check boxes that auxclass referenced, in the upper right-hand corner of the editing screen, there’s an easily missed link to “Screen Options.” Click that, and a bunch of options drop down. Make sure that “Discussion” is checked. Then you will see the Discussion module and will be able to edit your page to eliminate the comment box.
