Removing underlying name from blog

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hello

My blog was originally known as “(email visible only to moderators and staff)”. A while ago I wanted to rebrand away from that identification with a former employer and so I purchased the domain “builtblog.net”.

However, when I link media to a post, it still shows publicly that it iss linking to “gateleyprocuremment.files.wordpress.com”.

Is there anyway this can be changed so that the only publicly visible address relates to “Builtblog.net”?

    Thanks for your help.

    Regards

    DAVID

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m afraid not. The image urls for all of our sites, including our vip sites, show up this way.

The good news is while you notice those links, almost no one else does so it might not be quite as big of a problem as you fear.

If it still bothers you, or if you are getting complaints, you might consider changing your blog address. There are some details on how that works here:

I hope one of those options will work for you!

Thank you so much – I’ll explore that link.
